Curtains for Open Areas

Smoke and fire curtains are also well suited to the variety of scenarios where large open areas must be protected. These large open areas can be protected by curtains that deploy from the ceiling, and long spans can also be protected by a singe curtain deployment.

The multiple roller smoke and fire curtain removes all barriers to fire protecting large open spaces. The multiple rollers achieve two architectural objectives. The double roller configuration allows for the protection of tall openings. The second objective is that the roller systems can be daisy-chained together to cross very wide open spaces. They are now regularly used as an alternative to fire shutters, and building designers are requiring curtains to replace partition walls spanning large openings.
